This story transcended into the cracks of my conscience and left me with a creepy feeling up my spine always looking back to see if someone is following me. Ali wakes up the morning after a blind date gone wrong, all on her own with no memory; she doesn’t even remember the stranger in the mirror.
I was intrigued that the author had used a little-known disability, face-blindness. It left me often wondering what if, what if…. Every time I got the thread of the story, it unraveled when the author introduces another realistic challenge of the disability and throws the story of course, making me hope for a happy outcome.
I enjoyed the story because it kept me guessing who the perpetrators were, with lots of twists until the end.
