“I Scream, You Scream, We all Scream for ICE CREAM”

When I was younger, I would imagine serving my children with giant scoops of ice cream. You know three scoops tall, from the bottom up, chocolate, strawberry and vanilla, dark to light.

Well, now that I have a child of my own, have bills to pay and have to purchase the ice cream, a.k.a. being an adult, I have only been serving tiny scoops, a tablespoon, of vanilla. My son only likes vanilla ice cream.

This is why one tablespoon is served:

  • We can get more cones from the tub.
  • Less sugar and calories are served.
  • One scoop is less likely to fall to the ground.
  • If it does fall to the ground, it’s less mess to be cleaned.
  • One scoop is less likely to melt.
  • Less ice cream getting sticky on little fingers.
  • One scoop is easier for my child to manage.
